Project Size: $2.25 Million
Problem: Getting a large construction project off the starting line
Solution: A flexible financing option that eased cash flow impacts during the initial stages of the project
Sometimes one of the most challenging aspects of a large project is getting it started. In this case, an athletic apparel company was ready to kick off a $2.5 million construction project that was stuck at the starting line by financing companies unwilling to tailor a funding match to its cash flow and budget needs.
Enter LEAF. We asked, “Why not do the project in two phases?” Then we presented a financing plan that began with $250,000 in funding and added $2 million more when the company was ready. It wasn’t long before everyone involved in the project, including manufacturers, dealers, and contractors, was off to the races.
Was it successful? Now that the $2.5 million-dollar project is complete, the athletic apparel company is planning to finance more work, generating additional business for manufacturers and dealers.
